Pop Stop Ends up With Cops Busting Car Thieves

Apparently, their thirst for a Polar Pop ended up getting a visit with the cops.

At the Circle K on Columbia Center Boulevard Wednesday evening, the Kennewick Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) received a report that a Lexus reported stolen was in the parking lot.

Upon arrival, the found the car, and two suspects were arrested. An unnamed 28-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were taken into custody, and police also found drugs in their car.

The Kennewick police Facebook page noted, they had stopped for a Polar Pop, it's likely their driving around in a stolen car resulted in it being spotted and them arrested.

Drugs, and crime, make you stupid.
