Your best voice in politics is your vote and the local Washington Primaries are underway right now.

There are nearly 150 candidates running for public office and your vote is your best chance of getting your viewpoints and thoughts heard this election season.

There was a change to Washington Law that now allows voters to register to vote in their local election office up until the day of the election.

I also like that a new law passed to where your postage for your ballot is pre-paid. It only makes sense that if you want voters, the postage should be paid for on a mail-in ballot.

You can take a look at all the candidates here and then fill out your ballot. Don't forget, your ballot has to be postmarked by August 6th at 11:59 PM.

You can always check on your ballot status and request a ballot here.
