Around 12:30 pm Friday, police vehicles were seen on the dike on the Pasco side of the Columbia River, between the Blue and Cable Bridges. The dike runs alongside "A" street in Pasco.

An officer we spoke to said they received a report of a possible Blue Bridge jumper on the Kennewick side of the river. However, a visual inspection of the shoreline showed no immediate activity.

The Pasco office said since it was a Kennewick-based report, the most likely response would have been on the Benton County side.  The Pasco officers left the scene shortly thereafter.

No other activity was seen in the area, and no further information released by officials as of 1pm.
