14-Year-Old Driver in Spectacular Crash Near Edison [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Details are still coming, but around 11am a car accident near Edison in Kennewick resulted in a car flipping, and coming to a rest at an angle against a telephone pole.

According to sources, two 14-year-old girls were in the car without parental permission.  They apparently had taken the car for a joyride. This information has not yet been confirmed by authorities, but Newstalk 870 learned this from witnesses at scene.

According to witness Alex Johnson, the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rounded a corner,  actually rode UP THE GUIDE WIRES supporting the pole, then fell and landed against the pole upside down.  The accident occurred right by the studios of KVEW-42 ABC TV.
