The crash that killed a driver near Broadmoor and Road 100 on I-182 Friday was reportedly due to racing another vehicle, possibly more. Officials say Exit 7 near the scene will probably be blocked for several more hours Friday afternoon.

According to the latest reports, the identity of the victim still has not been released, but Washington State Patrol troopers say there were three cars involved. One vehicle, reportedly a white Camaro, left the scene. The other car remained at the scene besides the wrecked vehicle. Witnesses at the scene said there were three vehicles involved.

Troopers confirm one of the drivers was killed, when their vehicle rolled and the driver was ejected near the Broadmoor off ramp. I-182 eastbound was blocked and traffic continues to be very slow in the area as the investigation continues.

As of 3pm Friday, officials said it would be several hours before information on the deceased driver would be available.

No further information has been released yet.
