Gov. Inslee's office announced Friday the Trump Administration has granted a disaster declaration for 13 Washington state counties, due to the damage caused by the harsh winter, excessive snow, followed by rain, melting runoff and other other factors that caused hundreds of millions in damages.
Gov. Inslee's declaration means state agencies can provide any and all possible assistance, logistical and financial, to help the counties repair roads and other infrastructure damaged by flooding, snow, ice and the harsh winter.
As part of his declaration of emergency for some 20 Eastern Washington counties experiencing raging wildfires, Gov. Inslee didn't hesitate to slip in a statement about how he feels about his environmental agenda.
