Teens Arrested For Car Theft After Wild Pasco Freeway Rollover
Pasco police say the Washington State Patrol is handling the investigation, as is the Walla Walla County Sheriff's office, after a wild chase early Friday morning ended up with a car rolling over in the middle of Interstate 182.
Police report three juvenile teens were in the car, which rolled over near the 20th Ave Exit by CBC Friday morning. Officials didn't say exactly what led to the rollover, but say the car the boys were in was reported stolen out of Walla Walla.
Officials say the three boys, who are runaways, fled onto the Sun Willows Golf course after the wreck, but were caught. They are now in the custody of the Walla Walla County Sheriff's Department. It is not known if the teens were fleeing the WW officers, but the car appears to have been totaled.
The investigation continues.
