Around 9am Thursday morning, residents in the 200 block of Goethals Drive in Richland were 'treated' to the sight of a man being Tasered by police for allegedly throwing rocks at homes, breaking windows and resisting arrest.

The 29-year-old man, identified as Brandon Roberts, is accused of smashing two car windows, attempting to damage windows on several homes, and getting in a fight with a neighbor.

Several witnesses who drove by saw Roberts lying on the ground with Taser prongs and wires sticking out of his body. Police say when they responded to the 911 call and made contact with him, he resisted arrest, so he was subdued with the Taser.

He's now in the Benton County jail facing malicious mischief, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and and assault charges.

Authorities didn't say if Roberts was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
