Train Derailment Spills Chemicals Near Finley

At least three cars have derailed or tipped over near Finley, according to sources.

Midday Monday, emergency crews responded to the area of East Perkins and South Finley Roads, after three rail cars tipped off the tracks due to a derailment, according to KNDU-TV.

One of the cars seen in a photo from our news partner KNDU-TV, shows what is believed to be ammonium nitrate which has spilled on the ground. One of it's primary uses is for agricultural fertilizer.

Crews are on scene, including HazMat teams, to clean up the spilled materials. No other details available, we will update as more information is released.
