Truck Thief Makes it From Ephrata to Pasco Before Being Busted

Shortly before 10:30 AM Wednesday morning, Benton County Sheriff's Deputies, along with Pasco and Kennewick PD, apprehended a truck stolen out of Ephrata. The truck was located and stopped westbound on I-182 near Road 68 in Pasco.

We don't know if it was actually taken after the lot opened, or if it was stolen overnight and discovered early Wednesday.

But either way, that white Dodge dually in the picture was reported missing this morning.  We looked, there are maybe 2 dealerships in Ephrata, BCSO didn't say where it was taken from.

OCCUPANTS CLAIMED THEY DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS STOLEN

BCSO got a good chuckle with that one but given there's only been one arrest (so far) it's possible it was taken, and the other people inside didn't know. Either way, the investigation continues and the truck will be returned back to Grant County.
