As the Mid-Columbia continues to go bonkers over Pokemon' GO, Kennewick police issued another reminder for those caught up in the game.

For the last week or so, the department has been swamped with calls, especially at night, about people chasing the elusive little critters around the city. Police took to Facebook Tuesday with a reminder:

MORE "POKEMON GO" PLAYERS CONTACTED /TRESPASSED

"Last week when "Pokemon Go" came out we posted about getting several calls reference suspicious persons entering private property areas in the late night and early morning hours. We contacted several Pokemon Go players tonight. All week we have had numerous calls about trespassing or suspicious persons due to night owl players. We advise AVOIDING private property where these characters appear. A good rule of thumb is if a business is closed and it is dark outside, you should not be on that property. Trespassing is a misdemeanor offense and officers have the option to book into jail for that charge. Have fun playing "Pokemon Go" but please use some common sense."

Oh, and that would include while you're crossing the street too.
