Authorities now say the man involved in a three-car crash over the weekend in Irrigon, OR was not only intoxicated on alcohol, but apparently high on pot.

Officials say Jesus Eduardo Zaniga, 21, of Boardman, was arrested after his Dodge Charger slammed into two other vehicles Sunday afternoon.

He was headed south on Paterson Ferry Road at a high rate of speed, when he struck a vehicle on Highway 730. That crash then sent him into another car. Both of those drivers and Zuniga sustained minor injuries, but were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Hermiston as a precaution.

Zaniga was arrested at the hospital, and is now facing a total of 7 charges including intoxicated driving, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and more. He was released Monday on $40,000 bond, according to the East Oregonian.
