Driver Slams Barrier, Doesn’t Stick Around to See Damage to Car

Kennewick police and the Washington State Patrol are searching for the driver of this car, who slammed into the jersey barrier (concrete dividers) on Highway 240 near the 395 interchange early Wednesday morning.

Police say the driver of the red car struck the jersey barrier, wadded up their car, and came to a stop in the Westbound lanes. However, they didn't stick around for the police, or for their car.

No word on who was behind the wheel, we're guessing they were probably not licensed or legal to drive.  The investigation continues.
