Inslee to Hold Online Climate Change ‘Town Hall’ With Al Gore
Governor Jay Inslee was recently quoted by ShiftWA (a conservative think-tank media and political watchdog group) as saying "I would like to have a sit-down conversation" with farmers and those in the ag industry, "but time doesn't permit that, unfortunately."
He was referring to questions asked him in the Capitol Press about resistance to some of his latest environmental and land-management proposals that would further restrict ag operations, growth, and our farm industry. ShiftWA reported on the Capitol Press article-interview.
Inslee can, however, put together a Climate Change Town Hall featuring Al Gore
Wednesday, February 16th, Inslee will be leading this town hall, featuring appearances by Al Gore and White House Climate "Advisor" Gina McCarthy.
According to his information release:
"Gov. Jay Inslee, who has made climate change and clean energy a focus of his work for more than 30 years, will host a virtual town hall on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 5:30 PM (PST). He’s invited former Vice President Al Gore and White House National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy for a panel discussion and Q&A about efforts to combat climate change and transition equitably to a low-carbon, clean energy economy."

The public is 'invited' to register and participate, to see the Zoom registration etc click here.
The news release comes from his official .wa.gov address, so it's safe to assume this is being done via his 'official' role as Governor. It is not known how much if any, WA state resources are being used, via his office, to undertake and present this Town Hall.
You may recall earlier this year, Inslee was dinged by the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission for failing to reveal and publicly list all of his 'outside' memberships and participation in political action groups, some of which taxpayer money was used to fund his dues.
