Levies Passing ‘Easily’ in Pasco, N. Franklin, But Crushed in Othello
Pasco is not seeing narrow margins like Kennewick and Richland when it comes to their levies, nor is North Franklin (Connell). But Othello's levy getting crushed.
OTHELLO VOTERS IN FRANKLIN-ADAMS COUNTY SOUNDLY DEFEATING LEVY
PASCO VOTERS APPROVING OPERATIONAL LEVY
The Franklin County Auditor's office was reporting as of 9:19 PM Tuesday, some 8,172 votes were cast on replacing their expiring Operations and Educational Levy and it was passing 53 to 46 percent.
NORTH FRANKLIN LEVY CRUISING IN FRANKLIN AND ADAMS COUNTY
North Franklin, Like Prosser and Othello Schools, gets split votes from two counties. Franklin County voters approved their Operational levy 65-34 percent, while Adams County voters were 64-35 in favor.
OTHELLO LEVY BEING DEFEATED
Both Franklin and Adams County voters were downing their levy, 66 to 33 percent in Franklin, and 57-42 percent in Adams where the bulk of the votes come from.
A host of smaller schools such as Lacrosse, Benge, Washtucna, Odessa, and others all appear to be approving by moderate to wide margins their levies.
