The Franklin County Republicans are staging their annual Lincoln Day Dinner, and the guest speaker carries a lot of national attention.

Friday, March 21st. at The Red Lion hotel in Pasco the Lincoln Day Dinner will be held beginning at 5pm with a social hour and silent auction.

Then following the dinner and dessert dash at 6:30,  Utah Senator Mike Lee will be the keynote speaker.

Lee, who was elected at Utah's 16th Senator in 2010, has quickly established himself as one of the most outspoken defenders of conservative American values in Congress.   Lee won national praise for his response in January to Obama's State-of-the-Union address; the Daily Caller said his response was "amazing," and should be hand-delivered to every Republican lawmaker.   Lee is one of a number of "newer" arrivals in Washington D.C. who are getting attention for standing up to the White House and standing up for American's values and rights.
