Apparently the "new math" isn't working for the Obama Administration.

After trillions in stimulus money, billions in defaulted loans to questionable green energy companies, and numerous White House stonewalls to various business and energy plans that would open up hundreds of thousands of jobs (Keystone Pipeline for one) and drive down prices, we find the price of many staples used by American families skyrocketing. According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, since day one of the Obama Administration, the price of regular unleaded gas has jumped 83 percent from $1.79 to over $3.28 a gallon (national average). Prices of ground beef, bacon and even wheat have climbed substantially. Even an American favorite, ice cream, is now found to be substantially more expensive on a national average than before Obama took office.
