This week, Thursday, a long-time respected veteran of the Richland Police Department signed off for the last time...but in a good way.

From the Richland Police Department:

"Sergeant Mike Harrison is retiring after serving the Richland community for over 30 years. Mike started as an Explorer, then a Reserve Officer and was hired as an Officer in 1990. Harrison held many titles with the department over the years, including K9 Handler, Field Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Administrative Sergeant and Community Services Sergeant."

Officer Harrison will be missed, but enjoy the retirement!
