Road Rage Victim Accidentally Slams, Disables Suspect’s Car in Kennewick
We don't know what may have led up to the incident, but the victim actually helped police find the perp.
Road Rage suspect nabbed after victim hits his car while fleeing
Around 6 PM Monday evening, Kennewick Police were called to the intersection of 27th Ave. and South Washington streets, for a report of a road-rage incident.
The victim met up with officers and told them while sitting at the intersection, the male driver in another vehicle pointed a gun at him. The victim, in their haste to get away, inadvertently struck the suspect's vehicle as he was leaving the scene.
It appears he caused some damage as the suspect was not able to get very far.
Police locate the gun-waving driver a short time later
Police located the driver, identified as 50-year-old Kevin Klaus of Kennewick. He was apprehended without incident and booked into the Benton County Jail on a 2nd Degree Assault charge. The investigation continues.
