Speed Zone Alert Change Could Cause Headaches For Drivers

The Franklin County Sheriff's Department is reminding motorists that a new speed zone is taking effect tomorrow May 15th.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, the speed limit on Glade N between Clark Rd and just north of Selph Landing will be changing from 55 mph to 45 mph.

The Sheriff's Department says this is due to the number of serious injury collisions and truck traffic in the area, hence the new speed zone.

It's a gentle reminder to slow down in that area of Clark Rd and not get yourself a speeding ticket.
