The store has been open for three generations in downtown Kennewick and now 100 year old Washington Hardware and Furniture is cutting back their operations starting January 1st, 2019.

3rd generation owner John Gravenslund said that the store will be open fewer hours and days starting next year. Gravenslund said a long time employee is looking to retire and Gravenslund said that meant that he could starting winding operations down at the store.

Gravenslund says he doesn't know what the exact schedule will be in the new year but thanks their long time customers for years of patronage.
