Police were kept busy Sunday with drunk drivers, maybe it was the warmer weather.  Kennewick police got a call shortly before 1pm about a car that was parked half on the sidewalk, half in the street in the 2300 block of West 4th.

Police said the reporting citizen said they tried to knock on the window and rouse the guy, but then he drove away, nearly hitting another car and the person. Police caught up with him and pulled him over. Then 44-year-old Gerardo Uribe all of a sudden snapped out of it and became 'combative' and uncooperative.

He was found to be impaired and was also wanted on a Department of Corrections warrant. Besides the DUI, he's also facing charges of obstructing an officer and numerous traffic violations.
