CDA Casino Loses Liquor License Over Strip Show Dance Moves
The Coeur D' Alene Casino Resort will be "dry" from November 1st. through the 10th.
The Idaho Liquor Control Board told the Spokesman Review Newspaper Tuesday they are suspending the casino's liquor license because of the behavior of the male exotic dancers performing there recently.
The show called "Hunks" featured male strippers, but the Liquor Control Board says excessive "dance moves" broke the state's liquor laws concerning such shows.
The law forbids excessive physical contact and "exposure" of private areas by the performers, regardless of male or female.
The law also says "the performers cannot simulate any sex acts that are prohibited by law"...wow!
Guests during that time period will only be allowed to have alcohol in their rooms, it cannot be consumed or served anywhere else in the hotel, and cannot be sold to patrons who visit or stay at the facility.
While it's a ten-day penalty, even short such periods will have a significant impact on the casino and resort, who depend heavily on alcohol sales for profits.
