A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal home invasion shooting from 2022 in Everett.

The 24-year-old suspect was caught without incident

The original crime occurred around 1:30 AM August 19th of 2022, when three suspects kicked down the door of the victim's home in the 2600 block of 96th St. SE in Everett.

The suspects went to the second floor of the home, and fatally shot the victim,  36-year-old Irah Sok, as she lay in bed with her 7-year-old child. Her husband had been immobilized with zip ties. The suspects ransacked the home and stole thousands in cash and valuables.

Her husband was able to finally get free and call 911.  After a lengthy investigation and a tip from Kent, WA Police, two suspects, identified as 28-year-old Kevin Thissel and 23-year-old Chris Johnson of Pierce County, were located and arrested last August.
