
Grant County Jaguar Thief Caught After 90-MPH Chase
The pursuit ended when Officers got an assist from mechanical failure.
Stolen car DUI suspect nabbed
The Grant County Sheriff's Office was able to apprehend a 20-year-old suspect who had led them on a brief chase in a stolen car.
A WSP Trooper investigating a separate DUI call notified the GCSO about a dark colored Jaguar sedan seen speeding along SR (State Route) 28 toward Quincy.

Moments later, a Deputy spotted the black Jaguar XF parked at the Jackpot Food Mart in Quincy. The vehicle's license plate was actually registered to a Mercedes Benz. Officers noticed the vehicle's occupants appeared to be trying to avoid Officers as they were trying to back out of the gas pump area.
Deputies and Quincy Police pursued the vehicle, but not long afterward it broke down on Road 5 NW. The driver, identified as Raymundo Villalobos Chavarin of Quincy was arrested and according to the GCSO is facing multiple charges including:
"...suspicion of felony eluding, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, third-degree driving with a suspended license, and DUI."
His passenger was released because they had not committed any crimes.
