Kennewick Irrigation Water Shut Off Date Is Coming Up

Franklin county officials have identified the man who drowned in an irrigation canal on Taylor Flats Road near Ringold Road, and they say it happened hours before the car was seen. The Coroner's office says after an examination, it appears 56-year-old Donaciano Flores-Figueroa likely drove into the canal sometime after midnight Sunday night or very early Monday morning...

Tuesday afternoon, Kennewick police responded to an unusual type of crash,  huge trailer loaded with gravel vs. an irrigation canal. Authorities say the large landscape dump trailer loaded with decorating rock detatched itself from the truck pulling it, and ended up in the main canal near 52nd and Olympia streets...

Officials now say the man found in a car seen under water at the Roza Dam reservoir has been identified.

Friday morning, a felon's aquatic skills were NOT on display when he tried running from Kennewick police. The canal he jumped into is circled in image.

You probably remember THIS guy, May 9th he was arrested for illegally driving his SUV on a private KID canal access road in Kennewick. He lost control and dumped it into the canal. Well, this weekend he was busted for taking somebody else's car--without asking first.

The driver, say Kennewick police, was cited for reckless driving, and gets a hefty tow bill too.

A 20-year-old Kennewick man is in custody after  refusing to pull over for a Pasco police officer early Friday morning.

4 juveniles and one adult are in custody of the Pasco police after they stole a truck in West Pasco Thursday morning.
