Watch Hermiston Cop Join in Little Kids Roping Game [VIDEO]

It helps when you actually know how to rope.  Hermiston Police Officer Jons was on patrol this week, when he spotted some children playing with a rodeo lasso in their yard, complete with a sawhorse.

Officer Jons is known in the rodeo community, a local native who often thunders out into the arena at the Pendleton Round Up as the Flag Bearer.

He stopped by to help these little tykes by showing them how it's done! You will notice he had a little company by his feet, the little white and black dog dancing around.
