Hazardous Household Free Collection Event Planned

It's Spring Cleaning time and one of the hardest things to get rid of is hazardous household items that normally aren't accepted at the dump. Luckily, a free collection event is being held in Benton County so you can unload those unwanted items.

Here are the details of the event:

EARLY CLOSURE MAY BE NECESSARY IF WE REACH FULL CAPACITY

FREE to all County and City households in Benton County

Paints
Propane tanks
Kerosene
Cleaning products
Gasoline - Less than 20 gallons
Lawn and garden products
Motor oils and antifreeze
Gas/oil mix
Batteries
Fire extinguishers
Pool chemicals

Items NOT Accepted:
Explosives
Dynamite
Asbestos
Ammunition
Biohazards
Tires
Medicines
Electronics
Gasoline - More than 20 gallons
Business/contractor waste
Fluorescent bulbs and tubes
