Talk Show Giant Rush Limbaugh Has “Advanced” Lung Cancer

Rush shocked out audience, and ourselves here at Newstalk870 Monday morning, by revealing that he had lung cancer.

Few specifics were let out by America's Anchorman, but sources such as the Washington Examiner say it's "advanced" as Rush had said on air.

Not sure exactly what "advanced" means, but Rush did say he was going to miss some time due to treatment.

This is what he said on air Monday:

“So I have to tell you something today that I wish I didn’t have to tell you,. And it’s, it’s a struggle for me because I had to inform my staff earlier today ... I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer."

We don't know any more than you, our good listeners, know, except that he might be back on air Thursday. We will continue to update what we know, and send our prayers his way.
